Dear Citizens for Rescue Friend,
As our final communication from the Citizens for Rescue Fundraiser and Auction, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude one last time. Thanks to each of you, our February 23rd event and auction was a tremendous success! As well as a great time!
Donors contributed incredible auction items that sparked exciting bidding wars and made a lot of winners very happy.
Sponsors provided delicious food that attendees are still raving about.
Musicians, Kevin Seal, Jef Stot and Shannon Warto, delighted and impressed us with their performances.
Volunteers worked tirelessly to ensure the event ran smoothly.
Bidders and attendees showed up, participated, and made it all possible.
Corinne and Therese put together the on-site very fun gift basket silent auction and bakesale raffle.
Corina, our amazing collaborator and event manager, brought everything together seamlessly.
Len Welsh, Supervisor John Gioia and Dr. Matt Judd wowed everyone with their lemon mousse, world-famous sweet potato pie and Chocolate Chunk Cookies—who knew that people so dedicated to serving our community also have an impressive inner Julia Child-Famous-Wallace-Amos thing going on!
And very special thanks to Dr. Judd and Len Welsh who have been helping me get my boo-dog Chata back to health this past week with an unexpected acute and intense illness - - the reason why I'm sending this later than I had wanted! My love for her is among the reasons I do all that I do.
Because of your generosity and enthusiasm, we grossed over $13,000 which will help more dogs in our county get the care, support, and second chance they deserve.
From all of us, thank you for being part of this incredible effort. We look forward to staying connected and continuing this lifesaving work together!

We need everyone to help us keep our furry beloveds off of the euthanasia lists!! This event will raise money to directly support those efforts, medical expenses, boarding costs, and the volunteers whose hearts and pockets are always giving.
